# nexyron.decision_run

`CALL nexyron.decision_run($request)` starts a service-owned Decision Intelligence workflow. It is a mutating procedure because it queues background work and can create or update Lens-linked report artifacts.

The request is a map with the same contract used by the System Assistant and MCP decision tool:

-   `database`
-   `problem_name`
-   `goal`
-   `lens_name`
-   `report_name`
-   `subject_abstraction`
-   `scenario`
-   `candidate_query`
-   `policy_names`
-   `candidate_actions`
-   `objectives`
-   `constraints`
-   `max_recommendations`
-   `background`

By default, callers should set `background: true`. The service queues `business_decision_run`, creates or reuses a clean business-named Lens, evaluates candidates against objectives and constraints, saves a raw `decision_run` artifact, and generates a Lens-linked decision report through the stored Lens report writer workflow.
